As required by the UK’s Modern Slavery Act 2016 and California’s Transparency in Supply Chains Act 2010, this transparency statement sets out the steps we have taken during the financial year to ensure that modern slavery is not occurring in our company or supply chain.

This transparency statement covers the period of our financial year 2021/2022 which runs from 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022. It was approved by our Executive Board. In April 2021. This is a group statement applying to the following companies in our global group: La Martiniquaise, Bardinet, Glen Turner, Bruggeman, Dilmoor, Uniao, Bardinet SA and all the others production facilities of the group in France, Europe and the rest of the world.

Established in 1934, La Martiniquaise Bardinet is an independant French company producing and selling wines and spirits. We employ over 3000 people. We are a family business and all our action are guided by moral, ethics and sustainable development.

We condemn all forms of human exploitation and undertake to denounce any form of modern slavery brought to our attention by a third party.

Slavery was never and will never be part of our business in all the group company as well as at our suppliers and partners.

We operate within a global supply chain, sourcing raw materials for the manufacture of our products and marketing, distributing and selling them to our customers and consumers all over the world. In doing so, we operate and comply with local laws. We expect our suppliers to do so.

We reserve the right to exclude any supplier or partners that appears on the World Bank Sanctions list or in the European Union list.

Inclusivity is one of our main values.

We are open-minded, to integrate different backgrounds and cultures and address to all.

We believe in diversity and respect and we are open to the world & outward looking.

At La Martiniquaise Bardinet group and in all its subsidiaries including Glen Turner in the UK, given our global policy, our values, our and our code of business conduct we do not consider that there is a risk of slavery or human trafficking within our own business.
We honestly and ethically attest that we have good practices against any direct or indirect human exploitation.

This statement was reviewed and approved by the Board of La Martiniquaise Bardient and Glen Turner Company Limited in April 2021 and will be reviewed by the board of directors at least annually.
